A free pregnancy test is completed. While she waits on her results, a video is shown on pregnancy, fetal development, pregnancy termination and her alternatives. Afterwards, the client advocate enters into discussion regarding the outcome of the pregnancy test, alternatives and her individual needs and concerns. The woman then decides on her options and her client advocate provides the appropriate follow-up.

Moss Memorial primary care serves uninsured, self-pay, Medicaid, Medicare and commercial insurance patients.

SLAC is a non-profit community-based organization supported in part by grants from the HIV/AIDS Program of the Louisiana Office of Public Health, Department of Health and Hospitals. These grants provide HIV Prevention programs as well as a variety of services to persons living with HIV and AIDS.
